When reviewers open my documents to track changes, and subsequently return the document to me, the TOC and all Captions get "edited" (stricken text + new text inserted)- -even though page numebrs did not change or table/figure numbering. Will locked fields remedy this? If so, can I "Select all" then hit Cntl-F11 to have all fields lock? Thanks, all! Hi Lugubrious, I think this has been a problem in some versions of Word...
