Hi,

It appears (when I do it anyway) that after mail merging from Excel into
Word  that it doesn't allow the option to print either a single page and/or
a range of pages.

Some of the merged docs I have can be anything upto 1,000 pages in length -
can anyone offer a solution to print a single page or a selected range of
pages etc..... ?

TIA

Johnn

I've had the same problem with much smaller documents (e.g. 7 pages). The
only solution I found was to click on the page I want to print, open the
print menu, and check "Current page." Then I go to the next page and repeat
the process.

Hi Richard,

Ditto - that worked when I tried it as well, but as you can imagine its not
a viable option for docs which have a huge number of pages.

Appreciate your feedback though....

If you are merging to an output document, typically there wil lbe one Word
section for each record merged from the data source. To print a specific
page in a specific section, you can specify the page "number" using e.g.
s3p2 for section 3 page 2. There's more info in Word Help on this.
