Hi! I am merging hyperlinks from Access database to a Word catalog with a
following field:
{HYPERLINK {MERGEFIELD "hyperlink_field" }}.
The result of this is the same hyperlink in all records. Is there any
workaround?
Oh, I am using MS Office 2003.

In your newly merged document, click on Edit...Select All..., then press F9.
This should update your fields and make them active links.

If you want the links to be blue in the final merge doc, go back to the
original, press Alt + F9 to view the code, in your hyperlink field delete
the part that says */ mergeformat, then merge.  Update as above.

Thank you very much - this helped to solve my problem. However, I also
noticed that the text of the hyperlink (not the link itself) stays the same
as typed in merge document - it does not change in the final document. Not
that it is crucial - I just wonder whe the text was not taken from Access
field (as I typed it in the table).
