I have been successfully merging to a query in Access 2000
database for some time and now that I have upgraded to XP
and Office 2002, I can no longer locate the query in the
mail merge.  I can link to the database, and some of the
tables and queries are there for selection, but not the
ones that I need.

i think this might answer your question.
you have to go to tools, customize, and add the mail
merge helper command from the "all commands" drop down
list. add this command to the toolbar of your choice and
you will now have the query options available.

I tried adding the mail merge helper to the toolbar and it still only shows
the tables, not the queries.
