Is it possible to use BCC: vice To: when performing and E-
Mail merge and using an Excel spread sheet for addressee e-
mail addresses.  Wna to do this to protect the e-mail
addresses of our receipients.

Using Office Word 2003 w/SP1

Thanks in advance for any help.

It should be possible using a modification of the procedure in the article
"Mail Merge to E-mail with Attachments" at
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/MailMerge/MergeWithAttachments.htm

Doug,
Thanks for taking time to write but, even after reading
that 2-3 times, it's still about 12 levels over my head...
Surely there's an easier way...  ;-/  Would seem to me
that there should be a CC: and A BCC: option in the merge
window...  Maybe in a later update...  One can only hope..

Well you could have additional fields in the data source for the CC and BCC
and re-execute the merge picking each of those fields in turn as the field
containing the email addresses (maybe with an appropriate slight
modification to the mailmerge main document so the CC and BCC people know
whey they are receiving the email
