MS Office Forum / Word / Mailmerge and Fax / October 2004Mailmerged document to e-mail (as attachement) contains marco's?
I'm trying to mailmerge a document by automaticly merge to electronic mail. The documents are send as attachements. This works fine but the generated documents in the e-mail message contains the same macro's as they are in the original mail-merge document. This is strange because when I merge the mail-merge document to a new document without merging to e-mail, the macro's will be deleted. Any suggestions? Maybe I did not make my problem quite clear. I'm not trying to send e-mail with additional attachements; I'm only trying to mailmerge to e-mail with use of the standard fuctionality in MS Word. Anyway this works fine; The e-mail will be sent correctly and the Mailmerged document will be sent as an attachement. But..... The document which is send by e-mail contains macro's. I don't want the macro's to be included. Normally, when merging to a new document (without merging to e-mail) the macro's won't be included in the merged document. I think you will have to manually delete the macro from the mailmerge main document before executing the merge.
