When printing envelopes through a mail merge in Word from Excel the printing
starts the list over at about 170 envelopes.  Why does this happen and is
there something to set different on the computer?  We are on a windows server
and the printer is on the network.  We have tried this on windows 2000 and
the windows XP Professional and they both do it.

It is probably an issue with the print spooler - try merging to a new
document and printing that, or try switching off background printing for the
duration of the merge.

The repeat of the merge happens every time we do a merge.  The background
printing is already turned off.  We have the printer set to start printing
immediately, print spooled document first.  It doesn't matter if we merge to
a new document or not it still happens.  We have tried several machines and
also printers that are connected to the network as well as one that was not.
It still happens.  We are using a HP Laser Jet 4000.
