mail merge is printing main document apart from merged document

Hi

I am doing the mail merge using Word. The Word is printing the merged
document correctly. However, it is also printing the main document (with
merged fields) as well. I wish that the main document does not print. Any
help??

That is what it is supposed to do. Are you sure that you did not hit Print
twice?

Or did you mean that it is printing the main document with the mergefields,
e.g. <<name>>?
