I dislike the way that mail merge is set up now. It used to be three simple
steps, now it uses a wizard to take you through several steps. I dislike
this feature very much. I am a trainer and I am finding it difficult to
write simple material for my users to do this.

Go to the Tools menu, select Customize and go to the
Commands tab. Locate and drag the familiar Mailmerge
Helper Command onto the menu.
