I assume so.
The data entered in the field is "c:\\aaa
merge\\pensions.doc" (including the "").This is exactly
the same as was entered before as
{includetext "c:\\aaa merge\\pensions.doc" government}

In that case {Includetext {Mergefield Fieldname} bookmark}
should work. You will almost certainly have to merge to a new document and
update it after the merge (CTRL+A then F9).
If it doesn't, merge the fieldname field on its own without the Includetext
and see exactly what it enters.
