Several very useful articles refer to Outlook - do they
also refer to Outlook Express?

Thanks

Generally no,  but you would have to be specific about the articles for a
completely accurate response.

Thanks, Doug.

I am attempting a Mailmerge to Email but after clicking
the Ok to send I get the message in the background:

"Either there is no default mail client or the current
mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please
run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail
client."

I am using using Outlook Express and it is set as the
default mail handler. And this, of course, is why I have
asked about the two Outlooks. No problem sending single
Emails from Word.

Regards

John

AFAIK, for that, you will have to do as the message says.

HI.....
YES THERE ARE MANY ARTICLES ON OUTLOOK BUT IT VARIES
BECAUSE FOR OUT LOOKEXPRESS YOU NEED A THIRD PARTY
SOFTWARE AND MOST OF THE METTHODS MENTIONED FOR OUTLOOK
WOULD BE SAME AS OUT LOOK EXPRESS.IF NO THIRD PARTY
PROGRAM YOU CAN ALWAYS CONVERT THE CONTACTS TO SOME TEXT
FILE AND USE FOR MERGE.

THANK YOU.

Hello....

Its really great that you have read article on
Microsoft.com,
And Artilce are only for Microsoft outlook not for outlook
express.

If you are trying to do mail merge using outlook express,
i am sorry to inform that outlook express is not designed
to do a mail merge.
How ever you can do this by copying all the contacts from
outlook express to text file or csv file. Save it on
desktop.
Then open Word application and perform mail merge using
this text file as data source.

If above steps work around, please send me reply on my
Email address,
Have a nice day...
Bye.
Well wisher.
