Can I print MULTIPLE sheets of the same label?

I need to print hundreds of labels for my product samples. I am using 10-up
Avery 8163 labels.

Right now, I am creating them one sheet at a time using Tools/Letters and
Mailings/Envelopes and Labels, but this is a pain in the behind because Word
doesn't let you copy and paste a formatted block of text into that window
(the formatting disappears).

Is there an alternative way to accomplish this?

Instead of printing the labels from the envelope/label tool, click the New
Document button in the same dialog. This will give you a page of labels you
can save and print as often as you wish.

Graham,

I can't believe I didn't figure this out on my own, but given that there's
no F1 help in this dialog, I suppose I should not be terribly surprised.
Online Help is also completely useless on this topic.

MANY THANKS for this brilliantly simple solution. The aggravation you have
just spared me is almost impossible to measure. :-) I label about 200 pet
food samples a month and I really needed an easier way to do it... this way
makes it trivially simple.

Glad to assist, however it is certainly in the help file under - Create and
print labels for a single item or address

" To save a sheet of labels for later editing or printing, click New
Document." but you can certainly be forgiven for not finding it. Microsoft
could learn a few things about searching their help file from Google.

Graham,

I used Search and it didn't find it. And there is no F1 help in the dialog;
I checked again. It doesn't make any sense at all.

Oh well. I don't care, as long as I can get an answer. I am a bit limited in
my choice of tools because I'm not about to buy a program just to create
sheets of labels.

:-)

Avery has provided an simple utilities (free for download from their web
site www.avery.com).  This installs a Word macro which allows you to choice
how to do your lable.  It has all the Avery label codes so you can select
the labels by code (ie: 8163).

It is called: Avery Wizard for Word.
