Why, all of a suddent, are these big red formatting notes showing up in my
merged documents. They are flow-chart looking things pointing at every merge
field with font, etc. They weren't there last week, or last month. Now,
they're everywhere.

They show up on printed version, too.

THANKS!
Leila

This indicates that "Track changes" (Revisions) has been turned on for this
file.
   - Display the Reviewing toolbar
   - Make sure you're viewing either Original or Final *with Markup*
   - choose to accept (or reject) all changes
   - make sure all the boxes have disappeared
   - now TURN OFF revisions (Ctrl+Shift+E will do it, or the toolbar button)
