Hi all--
I have an excel "database" that has some cells with fraction symbols like
1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 2/3, etc. (I'm talking about where it's one "thing", not a
number, a slash and another number.) Anyway, when I merge it with Word, my
1/2, 1/4 and 3/4 appear just fine. But the 1/3, 2/3 and 1/8 appear as ?.
If I copy the cell in Excel and paste it into Word, they appear as they
should, not as ?. Any ideas on why this is happening, and what I could do
to fix it?
(Obviously I could just type the fractions in Excel, but it doesn't look
nearly as "pretty"...)
Thanks for any help,
Karin

How did you get the 1/3, 2/3 and 1/8 fractions in Excel?
AFAIK, the only ones that are available are the 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4.

I typed them in Word (may have gotten them using Insert, Symbol), then
pasted them into Excel...
