Email merge only partly worked - selected 8 of 53 recipients only.  I've
deselected the 8 names, however, cannot get the "merge to email" to work for
the rest of the recipients.  My address list is in Excel, the message was
composed in Word.

I have Windows XP, MS Office 2003.

My internet connection is via a server, and my default email is Netscape
Messenger on Netscape Navigator, which I cannot change.  If I could send my
email merge successfully to 8 people with this setup, it should work for the
others.

I'd appreciate some suggestions ...

many thanks,

Hi =?Utf-8?B?bWpya3M=?=,

Email isn't really a strength of any of the regulars, here, but...

What happens if you change the mainmerge document type to form letters and
merge to a new document, as a test. Do you still merge only the same 8, or do
you get a different result?

When you say you've selected and deselected names, I assume this is in the
Recipients dialog box? Have you tried clicking "Select All", then returning to
the main merge document? And then go back into the dialog box and deselect the
8?

How about linking in the Excel sheet again?
