Help with virtual borders on a mailmerge documenet

I've got quite a few mailmerge and address label kind of documents where
there'd be several labels on a page.  At one time there'd be a virtual
border showing the boundary of each label - i.e. not a border I want to
print on the page.

This seems to have recently disappeared, and I'm finding it confusing as
in certain cases I have blank leading labels (when using a half printed
sheet) and working out which are the blank labels is no longer as easy
as it used to be.

Is this a display option to show me the boundaries as it's affecting all
docs - if so where do I set it please.
