"Electronic postage software" working with Word 2002

I try to set up e-mail merging from Word, but gets the message "You need to
install electronic postage software before you can use this feature. Would
you like to visit Microsoft Office Web site to find out more about electronic
postage add-ins?". BUT no help there, I'm afraid... Can anyone help me with
this - either to work with Word or as a separate system.

What, more exactly, are you doing that causes this to pop up? When you set up a
mail merge to email and run it, this message doesn't pop up - at least not
normally. I've never seen it. This sounds like you're clicking on Validate in
the Recipients dialog box. Validate here has nothing to do with email address
validation.

I too have been trying to do a merge and get the same pop up. This happens
when I'm arranging the envelope and click on the electronic postage link to
insert the postage. Any help on this?

Not much, I'm afraid. When I try to use this, I get the message, but I also no
I've never installed any software of this kind. Have you? If not, then that's
the reason you're getting the message :-)

If you have, then you need to contact the company providing that software and
the subscription service.
