When I do a mail merge for labels, only 1 sheet of labels shows up, even
though there are many more names.  Also, when I choose to do a mail merge for
envelopes and I choose my data base source, 3 or 4 data base names show up
and when I choose the correct one, the header names are not in the correct
order, so when I merge, nothing is in the correct order in the address block.

With reference to the first part of your question, you are not completing
the merge, but viewing the merge source document.
See http://www.gmayor.com/mail_merge_labels_with_word_xp.htm
I don't understand the second part. Please supply more information about the
steps you have taken.
