I am trying to merge my outlook 2002 contact (all 300 of them) to a letter
being sent from word 2002. when i merge i have to go through each entry to
check if the Mrs or Mr or whatever is there.  As it is very inconsistent, one
letter has it right then a few missing and there is no pattern to the
corruption. I am at a loss as to what it is and have spent much time looking.
Is there any suggestions?
thanks

Start the merge from Outlook. This will give access to all the fields. Then
you can use a conditional field to place the Title field and its following
space when it has content and nothing when  it doesn't.

{ IF{ MERGEFIELD Title } <> "" "{MERGEFIELD Title } " }{ MERGEFIELD
First_Name } { MERGEFIELD Last_Name }
