MS Office Forum / Word / Mailmerge and Fax / November 2004fax trouble
Hi, I need some help figuring out how to sending a fax. Everything works okay until I go to send the fax and then it says no dial tone. I have DSL and I have one phone cord going from the DSL box to the phone and the other cord goes from the modem on the back of the computer to the phone. What could be the problem? Mindy It's not a word question - but check the setup of your fax system as it seems the modem is not communicating with the telephone line. ADSL has nothing to do with it.
