I need to print on envelopes that are x axis 5 3/4 in. and y-axis 4 3/8 but
these are too small for word--any suggestions?

Take an envelope of the next larger size and change the margins from the
"outside edges" to correspond to the size you need. As long as your printer
can feed that envelope size from a "manual" tray, it won't notice (or care)
that you're using a smaller envelope.
