How do I set Office Outlook as default mail client??

First time user -- Trying to set up mailing labels in Word -- using Office
Outlook contacts as data base -- Word Help says to set Microsoft Office
Outlook as default mail client -- I am using Office 003

It should not be necessary to setup Outlook as the default e-mail
application (unless you plan to send the labels by e-mail) but to do that
you set it from Windows Control panel > Internet Options > programs >
e-mail.
