How do I select individual data records in Word 2000

I need to select individual data records from a data source for printing
labels. The filter is not appropriate for this e.g. selecting by name but not
alphabetically

Add a column to the data source and enter a number such as 1 into that field
for all of the records that you want to print and then filter on that field
for that number.
