original office 2000 access database linked to several 'master letters' in
word 2000 worked fine. now using acess 2003 and word 2003, copied original
database and word document. merge is working 99%, but, currency values in
database do not appear correctly in word doscument.
for example:

in access database, the value i type in is £100.00, after the merge to my
word master letter, the figure that appears in the field is just 100 (missing
£, decimal point and pence numerics)
