I hope that this is the correct group.

I have setup a template with 10 or so fill-in fields.  Is there a way for
users to go back to a field, when they want to make a change, or must they
start entirely over?

We are using Word XP.

They can click on the particular field, if they can find it, and press the
F9 (update field) key. Consider using a userform or online form instead.
For more about online forms, follow the links at

Chapman's series of articles.

Hope this helps,
