When doing a mail merge I randomly get an error stating dialog or database engine failure. Does anyone know why and how to fix this?? You unfortunately don't mention the exact error message, nor the version of Word, nor when this message pops up, nor what the data source is. All that makes it difficult to guess exactly what might be the problem. Have you tried searching the Knowledge Base at microsoft.com for the EXACT error message you're seeing?
