I'm having a problem finding the right shortcut for the final step of mail
merge in Word 2003 XP.  I'm merging a document that's already set up with 1
item from a data list that's already set up.  All I want to do is merge one
record with the main document.  In Word 2000, I could go to Tools, Mail Merge
and then straight to the final merge screen.  In Word 2003, I can't find a
way to skip all the numerous steps on the "help" screen and go to the final
merge.  Do you have any suggestions?

From the View menu, select Toolbars and then check the Mailmerge item.  This
will cause the mailmerge toolbar to be displayed and you can do everything
that you need by using the various buttons on that toolbar.

See also http://www.gmayor.com/mail_merge_labels_with_word_xp.htm  which
covers this in greater depth.
