Is there a way to create a mail merge off of a web page.  If the client has
word on their computer, and they select a word document link off the web page
- this could cause the info from the web page to merge with the selected
document.

Any ideas?  If this isn't the right area for me to post this to please let
me know.

Not directly, no. Word can only merge to "real files", and not to URLs. So the
user would have to d/l the file with the data, and then attach the main merge
document to it (or you'd have to have Script do this).

It might be easier/faster to have Script generate an HTML file, using Word's
round-trip HTML, if you need Word-specific things. Word can open HTML files and
they'll basically look and behave like documents. (If you use Word's own
round-trip HTML they ARE essentially Word docs)
