Hi everybody,
I have a doc (word 2002) which has some merge fields. I cannot update them
since I'm missing the data source so all I want to do is to save the bloody
thing keeping the field's current values but removing the fields from it. The
only way i've found so far is to copy/paste special but if i do it for the
whole document I loose the formating, and if i start doing it for the 200+
field values it contains I loose my temper :-)

PLEASE somebody help me.... it's not even my job to do it...

Thanx in advance

Try selcting the document, or the relevant fields, and using ctrl-shift-F9
to "unlink" the fields.
