Hi:
I design a label where de source data is a Excel's sheet.
I work in Windows 2000 and Word 2000.
I used for a long time without problem, but now y get the
following message:
"Word could not re-establish a DDE connection to Microsoft
Excel to complete the current task"

The worksheet has 3500 rows, then I deleted 2000 and the
label works.
What is the problema??
Thank a lot

Hi Zbb,

There's this Knowledge Base article, which may or may not
help.

WD2000: ErrMsg: "Word could not re-establish a DDE
connection.." [Q224048]
http://support.microsoft.com?kbid=224048

But I'm wondering if the Excel sheet or the Word main merge
document may not be damaged.

- If you set up a new merge document to the Excel sheet, as a
test, will it merge properly?

- How about if you copy/paste the data into a new Excel
workbook?
