I am trying to send a mail merge email to 500+ addresses.

After going through the merge process I click Merge, Electornic Mail.  Then
enter the To, Subject etc options and click Send All.  Then a message comes
up, "A program is trying to access email addresses you have stored in
Outlook. Do you want to allow this? ..... (Tick Box) Allow access for x
minutes.  YES, NO, HELP"

I have been clicking Alllow access for highest number of minutes (10) and
Yes.

This doesn't come up again until "time allowed" ends.

Another message then comes up, "A program is automatically trying to send an
email on your behalf.  Do you want to allow this? ..... YES, NO, HELP"

I click Yes.

Then the next address I want to send to comes up with the same message/s.

Is there a way to turn this "feature" off????  It is extrememly frustrating!!!

Thank you so much.  This will make the task far less time
consuming/irritating!  Is this a flaw of Word??

It is not a flaw, but a deliberate programming choice made to address a
security issue. It is certainly an irritation for those who merge to e-mail,
but as e-mail merges tend to be mainly spam, this imposition will tend to
discourage their use ;)
