I've created a mailing labels doc in Word and am merging in an excel
spreadsheet.  There are six labels to a page and the first page merges fine,
but the second page contains labels 2-7, the third page 3-8, and so on.  How
do I get the second page to start with #7 and go on from there?

Sounds like you have not actually executed the merge, but are just viewing a
preview of the results.

See the article "Mailmerge Labels with Word XP" on fellow MVP Graham Mayor's
website at
