I have a word document with multiple tables in it.  I want
to format the document such that if  type text into a
specific cell of the table that the same information is
mirrored in another cell that I select elsewhere in the
document.
Any suggestions?

The answer is a REF field, with a bookmark.
Look up REF fields and bookmarks in help.

Note that bookmarks are very fragile. If you select the contents of one and
overtype, the bookmark will disappear and have to be recreated. If it works
in your project, include a space that you will not replace when typing your
information at the end and inside your bookmark.
