I want to be able to edit the if, then, else instructions when I add the
conditional statemetn to my merge file. But the only text I see is the result
of the calculation.

I need to be able to change the field comparison, since Word won't let me
enter some fields (specifically Merge Record #). But since all I can see if
the result of the statement, I cannot edit the statement itself.

This is a screwy. although consistent with Microsoft's "The program is
smarter than the user" attitude. How can I edit the conditional statement?
