I am attempting to run a mail merge using outlook contact list as the base
for contacts. As i go thru the process and select the option to use outlook i
get to select the contact folder and then i get a pane that is headed, Data
Link Properties. It requires i enter or locate a database name. I do not know
what to enter here as i assumed i had already chosen outlook and the sub
folder from the pst file. Each thing i try i get a response that includes'
MAPI folder or address book not found. Appreciate any help in moving forward
on this. thanks

Thanks for the info, i found that i have to run the merge starting from
Outlook rather than from within word. I found this after my response as to
whether the post was helpful, so thanks for that.
