North/South Split mail merge

I need to mail merge postcards 4 up on a sheet but i need one file's list of
name and addresses merged to the first postcard....and another files
information placed on the card next to the first one and so on....ive been
told there is a way to do this and it's called a North South Split or Nth
Select. Does anyone know what im talking about?? Please help!!!

The only way that could be done would be by combining the datasources into a
single datasource in which the records alternated one from one original
datasource and the next from the other original datasource. If you put the
data sources into Excel and assign ascending even numbers to one and
ascending odd numbers to the other and then copy all of the records from one
and past them at the bottom of the other, then sort on the column containing
the numbers, you should get what you need.

Let me clarify: I have one file with names and addresses that we are printing
on postcards that are 4 up on a sheet. I need to have the names/address #
1-100 on my spreadsheet only print in the first postcard on the sheet, names
100-200 print only on the second postcard and so on. The reason i need to do
it like this is because we will be cutting these postcards and doing a
three-way match with them so when we cut them we can say this stack is #'s
1-100, and so on. Rather than doing a mail merge seperately and running the
postcards through the printer 4 times...Is there a way to designate which
names go to a certain postcard because i have 4 of them on a sheet??? Please
HELP!!!!!

I believe I understood what you needed to do and I believe that the method I
suggested is one way of doing it. As all your addresses are now in one
file, you will need to split them (1-100 and 101-200) so that you can then
recombine them in the way in which I mentioned.
