I am trying to merge some dates into a word document. Some of the dates are
in the format dd/mm/yyyy and some are in mmm-yy.  When merging into word, the
dates in the format dd/mm/yyyy appear as dates but the dates in the format
mmm-yy appears as a serial number.

I have subsequently tried to change all of the dates in the fomat mmm-yy
into dd/mm/yyyy and tried merging again but the serial number still appears
in word on those affected dates.

I have tried deleting those dates and re-typing them in the dd/mm/yyyy
format but this still does not work.

Any help is grealty appreciated

Stuart
