I am using Word 2003 Mail Merge with an existing Word datasource. When I add
new contacts to the word datasource, and I try to sort the data it sorts the
newly entered contacts then the older contacts. It isn't sorting them in one
list. This happens by all fields except zip code. THe zip code field will
sort approriately.
However I need to sort by last name.
To be clear.. if I enter 2 new names, and sort by last name the 2 newly
entered contacts will arrange alphabetically and then the older contacts will
arrange alphabetically. I hope someone can help. I have installed all
upgrades to Office 2003. Thanks in advance for your time

Open the Word datasource by using File Open and then use the Sort
functionality on the Tables menu.
