Can just names be pulled from a mailmerge and copied in to make name tags in the label section? Yes. I assume that the reason that you ask this question is because you have been using the Address Block. Instead of doing that, just insert the actual mergefields that you want in the configuration that you want.  SignatureHope this helps.
