We are trying to mail merge from Excel to Word.
-  The $ sign in Word is not captured from Excel as the cell is formatted
with the Currency sign
-  Also when we are creating a roster list or directory that has to be
merged from Excel to word where phone numbers are concerned the brackets
created in Excel through the format route is not captured by the mail merge
in Word.

Could you please explain the procedure for this merge field.

Thanks

Freny
