Can I undo a sort on a mail merge data source?

I sorted my data source by last name and want it sorted by date entered but
do not have that field. Is there anyway other than redoing the data source
that I can accomplish this. Appreicate anyone's help. Thank you.

If you don't have a field containing the date that each record was entered,
then you can't sort on that date.
