I am struggling with my new version of Word 2003. I have been doing
mailmerge for over 10 years, but I just updated to 2003 last week and now my
mailmerge documents are not importing dollar amounts into my Word Tables
correctly.
Example: In Excel the data cell might read 48.67 but in the Word Table is
will read 48.67000000001 or 48.671111111119
It appears to be a rounding interpretation problem or something, but I
checked all the formats in Excel and I have them all set to Number with 2
decimal places.
Shouldn't Word merge in the data exactly how it is in Excel? I have spent
hours on this! I was going to pay the $35 tech support fee to call but I am
afraid I will be supporting some customer service dept someplace oversees
like India or something and I don't want to do that.
Please HELP! Thanks!

See http://www.gmayor.com/formatting_word_fields.htm - while making this
transition, you will probably find
http://www.gmayor.com/mail_merge_labels_with_word_xp.htm useful also.
