Hi, Does anyone know if there is a limit to the number of characters a merge field name can be? Also if that has changed from older versions of Word to newer versions of Word? For example I've had some users who were using something like this: «CD_Listingspurchaser_solicitor_address1» and now have to use a shorter version like this: «CD_Listingspurch_sol_addr1» Many thanks, Andrew Why do they have to use a shorter version? Do you know the answer to this?
