I'm trying to run a mail merge from an excel database and I'm getting the
first page of labels after completing the merge and I should have 3 pages.

You have not actually execute to the mailmerge.  All you have done is
previewed the results (or printed a preview of the results) for one page of
labels only.

See the article "Mailmerge Labels with Word XP" on fellow MVP Graham Mayor's
website at

Microsoft, in all of it's infinite wisdom, requires you to click "Edit
Individual Labels" in the Task Pane of Step 5.
Who'da thunk?
