Hi,
I have a MS Word (2002) document set up for landholders and I am merging
from Access (2002).  Where there are duplicate codes but different
information, I would like this to print in the same "record" in word.:

i.e.  Code  Name          Land Description
     SA1  Colin Max     CT 10050 425 53B
     SA1   Mark Max    CT  10050 424 52A
      SA1  Jenny Max    CT  10050 423 51C
      SA2  Mark Adams
      SA3  Maria Griggs

I would like all SA1 names to print under each other as with the Land
Description details in the one "record" but not print SA1, SA1, SA1 and SA2
and SA3 would be separate records.

Hope this makes sense :)

Many thanks,

Mandi Arvanitakis

Hi Mandi,

As the data is already in Access, I would use an Access report to do this.

It is not straightforward to do it with Word.  But, see the "Multiple items
per condition" item under the "Special merges" section of fellow MVP CIndy
Meister's website at
http://homepage.swissonline.ch/cindymeister/MergFram.htm

Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the
benefit of others who may be interested.  Unsolicited questions forwarded
directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis.

Hope this helps
