Just trying to do a simple print of a custom form in Word, and expected to be
able to recrod a macro (as in Access and Word).  What is differenet
differenet about Outlook that the feature is not offerred?

You might try asking in a newsgroup about Outlook rather than mailmerge in
Word. I suspect you would get more experienced answers there. There are a
number, including some dedicated to programming Outlook.
