change of address card

I am trying to print a change of address card on 5X3.5" notecard. I have set
it to landscape but keep getting message that text is outside margins.
Am I putting the cards in the printer in the wrong place.  I am using a HP
psc950 printer my computer is hp pavilion760n operating windows xp
Please help

Some printer drivers are poor with custom page sizes. If you have set a
custom page size (and your printer can physically handle such a small page)
then set the next larger standard page size and adjust the margins to make
up the difference.
