When I try to print from the mail merge program, my letters are printing
incorrectly. Some lines or partial lines are printing in bold with a larger
font. How do I correct this?

Are the things that are printing incorrectly merge field results?

In this case, in the main merge document

1. Press Alt+F9 to show the field codes

2. Remove \* MergeFormat whereever you see it

3. Alt+F9 again, then test merging to a new document

Has the problem gone away?

Cindy's idea is a good one; here's another one.

Check the "Style" for the document.  If you select everything (ctl/A) is the
Style box blank?  If so, this indicates that more than one style may have
been selected for some part of the document.  Try changing the style to
"Normal" for everything; just select everything, change the Style box to
Normal, save your document, then try printing again.
