Hi,

I am creating tickets for a school production and I want to be able to
number them automatically (10/sheet x 30 sheets) 1 - 300 using the mail merge
feature in Microsoft Word. How is this done?

Thanks.

Thanks for the help Anne - but - I have already designed my tickets. Is there
any way I can make my pre-designed tickets work with the system you have
already set up?

Thanks.

Sure, but I couldn't tell you how without seeing your tickets. :)
So email me your ticket, and tell me how many you need?
Email to my first name at my web below.

E-mail address - I can't attach (or at least don't know how to) attach files
to the newsgroups.

Thanks.

Use Excel to create a worksheet containing the word Number in cell A1 and in
that column a series of numbers 1-300.  Attach that file to your ticket file
as the data source and insert the <<Number>> merge field where you want the
numbers to appear.  Before the <<Number>> mergefield on the 2nd through the
10th ticket on the sheet, insert a <<Next>> field.  Then execute the merge.
