how can i filter addresses in mail merge

Please can anyone tell me how do i filter addresses in mail merge. i am
using the lates office package.

In what format are the addresses? If Outlook - see

Use the third button from the left hand end of the mailmerge toolbar to view
the recipients. In the dialog that appears, you can set/remove filters on
fields.
